Spoon Sports Steering Wheel Boss, for Honda Jazz GK, S660, Civic FK7 / FK8 and N-ONE

The Spoon Sports steering wheel boss lets you fit an aftermarket steering wheel to the Honda Jazz GK, S660 JW5, Civic FK7 / FK8 and N-ONE, with a machined aluminium column shaft section for rigidity and safety.

Part number 78512-GK5-000 is not the conventional aluminium die-cast design. Spoon machines the steering column shaft section from aluminium to give sufficient rigidity and safety, and the boss uses a universal pattern for MOMO, Personal, NARDI, OMP and other wheels.

Frequently asked questions

Will my steering-wheel switches still work?

Spoon states that the switches other than the standard horn stop working with this boss fitted, and on cars with cruise control the check mark may light up. They need relocating separately.

Is this the same as a conventional aluminium die-cast boss?

No. Spoon machines the steering column shaft section from aluminium instead of die-casting it, to give sufficient rigidity and safety.

Easy and straightforward to fit along as you’ve got the original arch liner clips as it screws into them. If the liner clips it screws into have broken like mine was, you can get some square Toyota arch liner clips on eBay that fit.
