Spoon Sports and Desmond first released the SW388 in the mid 1990s as one of the lightest performance alloy wheels available, at 3.88kg each. Its five-spoke design became a fixture of the Honda tuning scene, though Spoon Sports built it only between 1996 and 1999. The wheel is now back in production.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
