A high-tensile plate that reinforces the join between the front subframe and the body, for more responsive, stable handling.
The 11th generation Civic body is already stiff, but as grip and power go up, small delays in response and a little instability can appear. Spoon Sports found that reinforcing the connection between the front subframe and the body underneath the car removes them and gives lighter, more responsive handling. The Front Stiff Plate joins many fixing points as one plane rather than points, using high tensile steel so rigidity goes up without much extra weight.
