Spoon Sports Steering Stiff Plate, for Honda S660 JW5
A plate that strengthens the S660's steering gearbox mounting for a more direct, settled steering feel.
The S660 fastens its steering gearbox to the body with only two bolts, and play in the bolt holes lets the mounting twist, forcing constant small corrections. Spoon Sports developed this plate to increase the area where the body and steering gearbox are fastened, so both can take large inputs without moving. Collars in the bolt gaps use the same principle as Spoon's Rigid Collar. The result is a direct yet settled steering feel, and it installs without any machining.
