Spoon Sports build the S-Tai rear bumper for the Civic Type R FL5 as a full-bumper design in FRP. The company developed it through CFD analysis and on-track testing with a Super Taikyu race car.

Key Features:

  • Full-bumper design in FRP material.
  • Central grille suppresses the parachute effect.
  • Side grilles vent pressure from inside the wheelhouse, creating a pressure difference that generates downforce.
  • Rear airflow guide plates sweep upward and act as a diffuser, drawing air from under the floor to generate stable downforce.

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
