The Spoon Sports Monocoque (monoblock) Caliper Set, part number 45020-MBR-G00, is an opposed-piston caliper set that bolts straight onto the Honda S2000 with no machining.
An opposed caliper can be built with higher body rigidity than a stamped caliper, which gives lower drag torque and removes uneven pad wear. The monoblock body is precision die cast, and the set works with the standard front and rear brake balance and ABS. It uses pads of the same shape and size as the genuine S2000 and suits a 300mm rotor up to 26mm thick.

Fitment
Fits the Honda S2000 AP1 (1999-2009) and AP2 (2004-2009). An opposed caliper is wider than the standard caliper and may foul your wheel. Factory Honda wheels need a 15mm spacer, which can push the tyre past the fender and risk failing inspection, so please check your wheels with your installer before ordering.
