Spoon Sports Lowering Springs - Civic Type R FK8

Purpose-built for the FK8 Type R,  Spoon Sports progressive lower springs integrate seamlessly with Honda's adaptive damper architecture to enhance both precision and comfort.

A 20mm chassis drop pairs with carefully calibrated spring rates that balance increased stiffness with supple low-speed behaviour. The result is sharper turn-in and improved body control without compromising ride quality on imperfect surfaces. Equally at home on daily commutes or circuit work, they extract the full capability of the OEM electronic damping system.

The boss kit gets 5 stars purely for coming with a torx key and a little leverage bar for it, top tier thinking that. Boss was quite delayed however I was immediately informed of this and continuously updated until it was delivered so it was no issue for me.

Package arrived promptly and the new B pipe was well protected in bubble wrap inside the factory spoon packaging. The first thing i noticed was the quality of the welds, then the serialised Spoon plaque, and the genuine honda gasket and spring bolt kit which is included. Fitment was straight forward with the right tools, and the spoon piece aligned perfectly with the standard cat and Spoon N1 backbox. The noise i would describe as OEM++. No drone at motorway speeds but in the vtec band it has that raspy race note. Perfect for around town but still fun in the higher rev range when you want to hear your Honda scream.

I rate it 5/5 and would recommend as a replacement for those sadly corroding factory B pipes.
