Spoon has developed ECU and intake/exhaust parts to draw the maximum potential from the N-ONE's S07B engine. A turbo engine can be power-boosted fairly easily through ECU tuning alone, since the turbocharger force-feeds intake air - but unlocking the engine's real potential still needs the same approach used in naturally-aspirated tuning: reduce intake restriction and raise cylinder filling efficiency.
To keep the best drivability - the feel a power graph doesn't show, delivered by the stock airbox's high filling efficiency and heat shielding - this was deliberately built as a direct factory-replacement filter rather than an open element. A polyester-fibre filter media, in place of traditional cotton, achieves higher intake volume and more reliable dust filtering at the same time. On-track testing showed the biggest gains in mid-to-high RPM power and throttle response.
Please note: for turbocharged cars only - not compatible with naturally-aspirated (NA) models. No filter oil or cleaning solution is needed; just blow dust off with an air gun (for heavy contamination, wash with a neutral detergent and air-dry before refitting).
