Spoon Sports developed this full-spec damper kit for the Civic Type R FK8 and FL5 in partnership with KW USA, using data from the Thunderhill 25 Hours with the FK8 in 2021 and the FL5 in 2023. It suits the street, the circuit and winding roads.

  • Wide adjustment range to suit different driving stages.

  • Spring rate: 10kgf/mm front (140mm ID60), 12kgf/mm rear (170mm ID70)
  • Ride height change from stock: -20mm front, -25mm rear
  • Jack point height: 140mm front, 155mm rear
  • Recommended height adjustment range from stock: 0 to -35mm front, 0 to -40mm rear
  • Damping adjustment: 12 bump steps, 16 rebound steps
  • Recommended dial position: 6 bump steps front and rear, 9 rebound steps front and rear
  • Factory camber: -2 degrees front and rear; front adjustment range -1.0 to -3.0 degrees

The kit includes a damper control canceller, hook wrench and damping adjustment dial.

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
