The already-commercialized Progressive Springs lower the vehicle's center of gravity, improving cornering performance and transforming the N-ONE into a more enjoyable car.
However, the standard dampers lack sufficient capacity for high-grip tires, preventing the tires from performing at 100% of their potential. Furthermore, the damping is weak at the start of the damper's movement, resulting in a floating sensation at high speeds.
Aiming to create a suspension system that is both sportier and more comfortable, we developed dampers optimized for Progressive Springs.
Rather than simply increasing damping force in pursuit of cornering performance, we repeatedly conducted various tests, including the valve setup in the very low-speed range where the damper begins to act and the damping force value under high load, to achieve a specification that we were satisfied with, in order to suppress the unpleasant floating sensation during street driving.
We ensured sufficient stroke length using the original shape, optimized the length of the rod and damper case, and set the damping force to approximately 30% higher than the standard. It
also matches high-grip tires, and the sufficient stroke allows for comfortable and confident driving on various road surfaces. We have completed a suspension that allows you to enjoy sporty and nimble handling with confidence.
Fitment Notes
Recommended for use with Spoon Sports Progressive lowering springs, but will also work with factory springs. Upper mount (front), dust boot (front), and spring seat must be transferred.
