Hard cornering can pull oil in the sump away from the pickup, which starves the FN2 Civic Type R engine of pressure. The Spoon Sports baffled sump adds baffle plates to a genuine Honda sump to keep the oil where it belongs. Spoon Sports recommends it for regular track use.

Easy and straightforward to fit along as you’ve got the original arch liner clips as it screws into them. If the liner clips it screws into have broken like mine was, you can get some square Toyota arch liner clips on eBay that fit.
