The FL5 Civic Type R's turbocharged K20C builds heat fast on circuit, and water temperature climbs until back-to-back laps become difficult. A lower thermostat or fan temperature slows the climb but won't hold the right temperature. The radiator has to do that.

Spoon Sports built this racing-spec radiator around a 42mm core and ran it through the Thunderhill 25-hour race. On a street car the air-conditioning condenser blocks airflow to the radiator, so Spoon Sports fitted the same high-capacity core to the road version. It cools like the race car.

Fitting notes:

  • Run it with thermostat 19301-FK8-000
  • Trim the radiator-side hose by 10mm before you fit it

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
