The FD2 Civic Type R already has high body rigidity, but as a mass-produced car it has some low-rigidity areas set by crash safety standards. The joint between the interior monocoque and the engine room is one of them, so under circuit driving the engine shake and suspension movement are hard to control. The Spoon Sports side gusset plate reinforces the door mounting parts and wheelhouses across a surface, raising rigidity and helping the suspension move accurately.

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
