Spoon Sports N1 Exhaust Kit, for Honda Civic Type R FL5
A 70mm stainless steel N1 exhaust for the Civic Type R FL5, developed from Spoon's FK8 endurance racing.
Spoon Sports developed this N1 muffler kit for the FL5 Civic Type R, drawing on running the N1 kit on the FK8 at the 2021 Thunderhill 25 Hours race, where the sound was judged not to be fatiguing over a long race. Pipe diameter and silencer position were laid out from flow bench simulation data, then finalised by repeated testing on the car for boost-up, upgraded turbos and race use. The pipework is SUS304 stainless steel, and the dual-pipe tail follows the FK8 style.
