Spoon Sports built the Motion Control Beam to control the front and rear ends of the body, where twist is greatest under load. It improves cornering response while keeping street comfort and a quality feel. The beam fastens to the front of the front reinforcement and the rear of the rear end panel through a damper with a special friction mechanism. A plain brace adds rigidity but also raises micro-vibration; the friction damper absorbs that vibration for a smooth, high-quality ride.
