Spoon Sports built the Motion Control Beam to control rigidity at the front and rear ends of the body, where the chassis twists most under load. It sharpens turning through corners while keeping the ride comfortable enough for the street.

The beam bolts to the front of the front reinforcement and the rear of the rear end panel through a damper with a special friction mechanism. A plain brace adds rigidity but also raises micro-vibration; the friction damper soaks up that vibration for a quiet, high-quality ride.

  • Cuts body twist while holding rigidity against the diagonal twist that load transfer creates
  • Combines a high-resilience spring and a friction plate
  • The spring works with the brace against large twist inputs
  • The friction plate handles small inputs to control twist across a wide range

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
