The Spoon Sports 6-Pot Full Monocoque Caliper Set, part number 45020-FK7-G00, is a capless six-piston front caliper set for the Civic FK7, FC1 and FL1.
The tenth-generation Civic's weight, over 1300kg, became the biggest hurdle for time attack on track. The standard FK7 hatchback and FC1 sedan disc measures 282mm by 23mm, and in sports driving disc temperature passes a race-like 500 degrees. Spoon built this caliper from the 6-pot monocoque it has tested and developed in the Super Endurance Series since 2016.
The capless full-monoblock body is made on an angle-head machine, which cuts the number of rubber parts, reduces fluid loss and allows a rigid, lightweight design. Ultra-thin pistons and large-diameter dust boots meet the spec needed for street and circuit use. Six pistons of 36, 34 and 27mm diameter optimise pad surface pressure and prevent uneven wear. A 312mm by 25mm reverse-ventilated disc greatly reduces temperature rise and heat fade, improves resistance to judder and keeps pedal feel stable over continuous laps.

Fitment
Fits the Honda Civic FK7 (2017-2021) and, per Spoon's list, the FC1 sedan and the FL1. The caliper kit does not include the disc or pads, which are purpose-designed, so you also need the front rotor 45251-FK7-000 (priced per piece), and front pads in Street (45022-MB6-S00) or Circuit (45022-MB6-C00). Spoon recommends fitting its rear pads at the same time, to get the best front-to-rear balance. Factory wheels fit with spacers: the FK7 needs a 7mm spacer and long hub bolts, and the FL1 needs a 10mm spacer and long hub bolts. Spoon provides a paper template to check wheel clearance; a wheel is suitable if there is at least 2mm of clearance.
