The standard Civic FK7 disc measures 282 mm and 23 mm thick, yet brake temperatures pass 500 degrees in sports driving. Spoon Sports developed this full monoblock caliper for the FK7/FC1 from the 6-pot caliper it has run in the Super Endurance Series since 2016.

Key Features:

  • Uses a capless full monoblock body machined on an angle-head machine for high rigidity and light weight
  • Cuts rubber parts and reduces fluid loss
  • Runs ultra-thin pistons and large-diameter dust boots for street and circuit use
  • Arranges pistons in a 36/34/27 six-piston layout to even out pad surface pressure and reduce uneven wear
  • Runs a 312 mm reverse ventilated disc, 25 mm thick, for judder resistance and stable feel over continuous laps

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
