The Spoon Sports Low Temp Thermostat for the Civic Type R FK2, FK8 and FL5 opens sooner than the standard part and reaches full open at a lower coolant temperature.

The engine makes its most efficient power at 70 to 80C, and above that the power drops as the ECU adds fuel and retards ignition to prevent knock.

Key Features:

  • Spoon Sports: opens at 68C, full open at 81C
  • Genuine Honda: opens at 78C, full open at 90C

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
