Spoon Sports Low Temp Thermostat, for Honda Civic FL1

The Spoon Sports low temperature thermostat starts opening at 68C and is fully open at 81C, sooner than the genuine Honda part, which starts opening at 78C and is fully open at 90C.

Coolant temperature shapes engine performance. Too low and part clearances fall outside their range as friction rises; too high and the engine can overheat, drop into fail-safe mode and distort the cylinder and head.
