The standard cam angle sensor found on the RB is now over 20 years old and unfortunately isn't always compatible with the latest aftermarket ECU's.
The NZ Wiring cam trigger kit is comprised of a 24 minus 1 disc and Bosch VR reluctor sensor. A complete plug and play kit, it can be installed in less than 15 minutes on any RB series twin cam engine. It's also compatible with stock or aftermarket cam pulleys.
Benefits of installation include improved RPM stability, resulting in more accurate ignition timing and stable fueling, as well as smoother torque and power delivery.
Whats in the kit:
- Bosch VR sensor with OE connector
- 24 Minus 1 trigger wheel
- Billet mounting plate
- 4x stainless button head bolts and washers
- 1x stainless shim (should not be required but supplied in case)
- 1x OE loom side connector with pins and seals.
