Mugen Group B parts for the FL5 Civic Type R were developed under the "Extreme R" concept, with the goal of improving performance on the track. Through thorough design analysis, meticulous material selection, and uncompromising quality evaluation and improvement, the entire group of parts has achieved a weight reduction of approximately 38 kg and an increase in downforce approximately three times greater than the standard vehicle. Completed development parts will be released sequentially.
The carbon fibre aero bonnet optimizes the engine duct placement to improve heat dissipation efficiency and utilize the airflow from the front grille to generate downforce.
