HKS specializes in aftermarket high performance parts and is perhaps the most well known aftermarket brand in the world. Formed in 1973, and named after the founders Hasegawa, Kitagawa, and Sigma, HKS began tuning engines and cars. Their vision was to tune and manufacture engine components that surpasses OE Manufacturers.
With it's large diameter 'Super Intake Hole' and low resistance hybrid filter, these specially designed oil filters improve flow qualities by up to 30% compared to other sports oil filters. This improved flow improves engine response by reducing load. The Super Stealth Frame, un-woven cloth and special plastic fibre composite ensures high strength and low pressure loss.
Since their release in 2010, these have become one of the best selling items in the HKS range for good reason!
HKS recommend replacing your oil filter every 10,000km or 6 months, whichever comes first, or more frequently for sports driving.
