The Eventuri Carbon Fiber Intake System for the BMW G20, G22, and G26 models equipped with the B58 engine (specifically 240i, 340i, and 440i variants manufactured before November 2018) is engineered to maximize airflow efficiency and minimize heat soak, offering a substantial upgrade over the factory induction system.
Unlike conventional open-cone filter systems, the Eventuri design utilizes the Venturi effect, maintaining laminar flow conditions to significantly reduce drag on the turbocharger inlet. This meticulous engineering includes a sealed carbon fiber airbox with dual feeds, ensuring a consistent supply of cool, dense air. The system features a larger internal volume carbon fiber intake tube, starting at 111mm (4.4") in diameter, which replaces the convoluted stock tube for smoother, more efficient airflow delivery. Furthermore, a gold reflective heat shield is incorporated to actively minimize radiative heat transfer from the engine bay components, a critical factor for sustained performance.
