The Eventuri Carbon Intake System for the BMW G01 X3 M40i and G02 X4 M40i (B58D engine version) opens up the flow path to the turbo and fights the high engine bay temperatures that come from sitting close to the exhaust manifold.
It is built from pre-preg carbon fiber for strength and thermal isolation. The large carbon fiber airbox holds a bespoke high-flow dry cone filter with far more surface area than the stock panel filter. Air runs through a carbon fiber inlet tube with a 109mm (4.3") internal diameter, an 82% increase in cross-sectional area over the original, then tapers down to the turbo inlet to keep the flow laminar. A heat shield with gold reflective backing on the exhaust manifold side blocks radiant heat and holds inlet temperatures down.
The kit arrives complete with precision-machined parts: a CNC machined temperature sensor mount, breather adapter, and CNC machined turbo flange in both Pre-LCI and LCI versions for direct fitment.
