The Eventuri BMW E9X M3 Black Carbon Intake System wrings more from the naturally aspirated S65 V8. The stock airbox is good, so Eventuri concentrated on smoothing airflow and pulling down intake air temperatures (IATs) for repeatable power. A carbon fibre housing and tube hold laminar flow to the manifold and clear the restrictions in the factory parts.
A high-flow urethane cone filter sits inside the carbon fibre enclosure, fed cooler ambient air through a carbon fibre inlet scoop. Independent testing dropped the IAT difference against ambient from 9.6°C to 5.3°C at 5000rpm. The gloss black carbon finish suits the E9X M3 engine bay.
