- Description
The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the BMW E46 M3 (2001-2006) opens up airflow and sharpens engine efficiency. Where conventional aftermarket filters stop short, this one uses a Patent Pending Carbon Fiber Housing that builds an aerodynamic path from the high-flow filter to the CNC machined MAF tube. The design works the Venturi effect for smoother, less turbulent airflow, which is what the S54 engine needs to make its potential.
The intake assembly is 100% Prepreg Carbon Fiber, so it is strong and light. To keep inlet air temperatures down, it uses three aluminum heat shields, the main one insulated with neoprene to cut heat soak from the engine block and radiator. A 100% Prepreg Carbon Fibre Air Scoop with a CNC machined aluminum collar forces ambient air into the filter opening so the intake pulls in cold air.
