- Description
The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake for BMW B58-equipped models (M140i, M240i, M340i, M440i) works the Venturi effect and holds laminar flow to get more out of the turbo. This is more than a filter with a heat shield. The design cuts drag on the turbo with a flow path far less restrictive than the stock airbox.
The system uses prepreg carbon fibre components, including the filter housing with an integrated MAF tube and a carbon scoop, for a premium finish and good thermal insulation. The high-flow double cone air filter, aluminum cowl for smooth airflow entry, and CNC-machined MAF boss are all built to high standards. Double-layer main and secondary heat shields create a cold area around the filter opening and shield the turbo inlet from heat, which keeps power delivery consistent.
