The JDM hero cars have become seriously desirable, with R34 GT-Rs in high demand... This V Spec II Nür is one of the most sought after incarnations!

The legendary RB26 first appeared in the ground-breaking R32 GT-R. Fast forward and Nissan came up with the R34. The core ingredients were the same... you still got the Attesa four-wheel drive system, the HICAS four-wheel steer and you still got the RB26.

As with the R32 and R33, V-Spec cars were a bit more special than the regular GT-Rs. So you got a more sophisticated four-wheel drive system with an active rear LSD, stiffer suspension, and some aero mods.

The year 2000 brought the R34 V-Spec II, adding bigger brakes and a carbon bonnet with a NACA duct. However, right at the end of the R34 GT-R production in 2002, Nissan released the GT-R V-Spec II Nür!

Nissan built 1,003 Nürs—285 of them were more road-biased M-Spec cars, and the other 718 were stiffer V-Spec cars like this one. What they both shared, though, is the very special RB motor up in the nose. All Nürs got Nissan's legendary N1 version of the RB26 straight-six, originally designed for competition use. That meant a thick-wall block and special N1 pistons, rods, crank, and turbos.

Nür models also included different color stitching on the interior trim, as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h (186 mph) and gold valve covers instead of red.

We're lucky enough to have this stunning, freshly imported Grade 4.5 R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür available in our showroom. It has covered 61,997 miles.

Just 156 are finished in the stunning Millennium Jade (JW0).

HKS make it easier than stock

With a HKS racing suction kit, you definitely want to keep on those service intervals as the filter is so large, take one screw to take it off and check the inside, which makes it easier than a stock filter. Great that Torque GT stock them as they aren't too common but certainly available. Competitive pricing did it for me
