Spoon Sports developed this N1 muffler kit for the Civic Type R (FL5), drawing on running the N1 kit on the FK8 at the 2021 Thunderhill 25 Hours race.

Key Features:

  • Spoon Sports laid out the pipe diameter and silencer position from flow bench simulation data.
  • The front and main pipes measure 70.
  • The tail uses a 145 bullet-shaped silencer with an 80 end pipe.
  • The dual-pipe tail follows the FK8 style.
  • Repeated testing on the car finalised the layout for boost-up, upgraded turbos and race use.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.

Really brings the vtec crossover to the music party really sounds nice just perfect for myself, never took a photo of it fitting so gutted but an easy fit and you get the oem Honda gaskets ect with the product.
