Featuring the underrated VAB WRX STI, an Amuse S2K lined up against our Spoon Sports track car, an upgraded Lexus ISF and a modified Honda Accord. Plenty of handovers including a 6.4 litre Hemi V8 Jeep, plus a deep dive into Dixcel brakes and the latest parts news.
Spoon Sports S2000 & Amuse GT1
Two of a Kind
These two legendary S2000s got us thinking, which one would you pick? The Spoon car was built to win Super Taikyu races. The Amuse GT1 came out of a collaboration with Gran Turismo and got enjoyed by a whole generation of gamers long before most of them ever sat in a real one.
Special Feature - Lexus ISF
ISF Gets a Serious Handling Upgrade
One of only 50 Blazing Terracotta ISFs, now handling the way it always should have from the factory thanks to a Tein adaptive suspension setup, with Dixcel brakes brought in to slow this super saloon back down again. The 5.0 V8 makes a noise no modern car can match and it sits on a set of 19 inch Enkei GTC02s. This one has well and truly won the Torque GT team over.
Fresh Import - VAB WRX STI
The Underrated VAB WRX STI
The VAB isn't as raw as its 90s and 00s predecessors, but no modern revision of a classic ever is. Judge it on its own terms and you get the last of the EJ20 paired with refined DCCD and SI Drive tech, which makes it seriously capable in the real world. Styling wise it is properly Japanese with no need for extra skirts or extensions straight out of the box.
Customer Car - Honda Accord Type S
Modified Honda Accord Type S
The Type S is one of our most popular imports and this customer has built his perfect Accord with the help of our parts expert Matt. It runs Enkei PF05 wheels, a Fujitsubo exhaust, a K&N intake, BC Racing coilovers and a selection of Hardrace components to sharpen the estate up.
Handovers
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
Housing a whopping 6.4 litre V8 that makes around 470hp and sounds like an animal, exactly as you'd want from a big American SUV. It even has a launch button for drag racing, which tells you plenty about the intent. This SRT is a good example of the range of cars we can source.
Evo X
Written off by some for not living up to its predecessors, we think the X shouldn't be ignored quite so easily. It packs a punchy 2.0 turbo and drivetrain tech built on years of Mitsubishi motorsport know how, and it is also one of the few Evos you can still pick up at a sensible price.
Toyota GR Yaris
Sold before it even reached the showroom, which says everything about how popular these GRs have become as more people catch on to how good they are in the real world. A future classic in the making and the second one to leave us in as many months.
In the Showroom
Honda S2000
Still with us and still one of the best driver's cars of its era. This 2000 car has covered 56,757 miles, has just had a big service and sits in a lower tax bracket thanks to its age, so it costs less to keep on the road than most things this quick. Ready to be driven away and pointed down some B roads with the roof down.
Coming Soon to the Showroom
New! Coming Soon to the Showroom
To give people a better understanding of the types of vehicles we have in the pipeline, we've added a coming soon section to our showroom page. Right now there are some quality Subarus on the way including Spec C hatches, a Forester STI and Levorgs, along with a recently acquired Lexus ISF.
