The JDM WRX Type R STi Version V Limited has the desirable coupe body and made its debut in November 1998, with production only lasting until March 1999, hence the rarity!
Only 635 of this limited model were made in total, costing ¥3,009,000 JPY (£20,479 GBP) back in the day. Now, in 2021, this example is in excess of ¥5,000,000 JPY (£34k+ GBP) having covered 74,000 km... Another example of rare JDM metal appreciating in value.
You may think that's too much for an Impreza, but compared to a 22B, now £100k plus, you could say this Version V Limited is good value for something that arguably looks like a narrow bodied 22B.
It may be over 20 years old, but the rally DNA is still strong within... even today, from point A to B this is a real world rocket ship!
