- Description
Rigid collars are small parts with a special shape made of tempered aluminum material.
The products are designed to be used on mass-produced vehicles produced after 1990, and are verified on actual vehicles. There are 1,000 compatible vehicle models, and the product can be installed on almost all vehicle manufacturers' vehicles that have a subframe structure.
All mass-produced cars are assembled on the production line, where high productivity is required and even a delay of a few seconds is not tolerated.
The subframe with the engine mounted is lifted up by a hydraulic lift and assembled onto the vibrating body that moves along. Assembly time here is just a few seconds.
In order to assemble the heavy main components, which shake and vibrate, instantly and reliably, car manufacturers around the world make the bolt holes that fasten the body and subframe larger in relation to the bolts, making assembly easier and improving mass production.
Although the rigidity of the body alone has been steadily improving in recent years, the gaps between the bolts and the bolt holes have been overlooked due to the above factors. These gaps create low-grade vibrations in the car and are one of the main causes of lowering the rigidity of the entire car.
