Therefore, the filter material adopted this time uses polyester fiber developed in cooperation with SPRINT FILTER, a company that has a proven track record in numerous two-wheel and four-wheel races mainly in Europe, which cannot be achieved with cotton filters. We succeeded in achieving both a high level of suction volume and reliable removal of dust, which was not possible before.

The red line is the SPOON air cleaner, and the gray line is the genuine air cleaner. A comparison on the dyno shows that the output has increased across the entire range. Even in actual driving, the response across the entire range is improved and you can experience smooth acceleration and deceleration.

By welding the uniform folds and the areas where the fibers overlap, the polyester fiber is less deformed under high pressure and does not impair dust collection ability or air inflow. In addition, a strong stainless steel mesh prevents foreign matter from entering the air duct from penetrating the filter.

For maintenance, there is no need to apply filter oil or wash with cleaning agent, just blow away the dust with an air gun. If it is very dirty, you can wash it with a neutral detergent and let it dry naturally.
