In the B-type engine, the bottom of the oil pan is close to the exhaust manifold, so it is constantly exposed to heat, which causes the oil temperature to rise and the oil viscosity to drop. Simply stick it to the oil pan to block the heat from the exhaust and prevent the oil temperature from rising.
In addition, for the S2000, it can be stuck to the exhaust heat shield to block heat from the brake and clutch master. It is also a sticker type for other car models, so it can be easily stuck anywhere, not just the oil pan.
