Carbon is a material that is strong and lightweight, and is used in various parts of the motorsports world, and has a unique texture. The bonnet has been reduced in weight by about half, from 15.5 kg to 8.2 kg for the EG and EK series. This has the same effect as not having an air conditioner installed. In front-heavy FF cars, this weight reduction reduces understeer, provides quick turning, reduces the burden on the brakes, improves acceleration, and other good handling characteristics that are essential for sports driving. The product makes use of the texture of the racy black carbon fiber. Installation is done using the same locking method as the standard model, and no bonnet pins are required. Window washers also function.
