So you've seen all the hype around the Honda Super N. You love the idea of one, but being fully electric, that 120 mile range just isn't enough for you. The N‑ONE RS is the kei car it's based on, and instead packs a good old petrol engine.

Recently acquired at auction, this is a 2021 Honda N‑ONE RS with 41,500 miles on the clock and a grade 4.5 example. Being an RS model, it features a six speed manual gearbox as well as RS specific styling including a honeycomb grille and black trim, which contrasts nicely against the Pearl White paint.

It has a 660cc three cylinder turbo petrol engine from the same family as the one found in the Honda S660, which outputs 64bhp. Weighing in at around 840kg, it's a nippy car. Being a kei car, they are cheap to run and own, making this sporty variant the ultimate cheap thrill, especially as fuel prices climb and the war on speed continues.

It features a space efficient interior with folding rear seats to make the most of its boxy shape for carrying stuff, and a modern cabin design with quirky styling. Supportive front seats, heated seats, cruise control and an electronic handbrake with hill assist all come as standard, along with a crisp short ratio six speed gearbox which sits pleasantly at motorway speeds.
