Built to cover ground (any ground) as ballistically as the technology of the time allowed, the Evo VI took the mantle from the previous Evo V and pushed on further still. Adaptations from the V included improved cooling via a larger intercooler and oil cooler, fog lights reduced in size and re-positioned to allow better airflow among other small touches.

With 280bhp at 6500rpm and 373nm torque from 3000rpm, mated to the 5 speed manual and relatively low weight of 1300kg make these seriously impressive, even today! AYC and Brembo brakes keep things in check and allow you to really push on. Handling and grip inspire real confidence and the way these track the ground on uneven B Roads is astounding.

For many the V and VI are true icons of the Evo lineage, they stir up emotive memories for any motorsport fan and are as striking today as they were in period.

This 1999 (Feb) Evolution VI GSR presented in Reims Blue (T36) was Imported for a Personal Import client in 2019 at 85k kms. It has completed just under 5,000 UK miles, now reading 57,302 miles. Amazingly this Evo has survived major modifications over the years, the only non standard items being a Ralliart shift knob, an aftermarket JDM stereo and UK Cat 1 Alarm fitted as part of our import preparation for the original UK owner.

Prepared to a high standard at import, including major service, cambelt service etc. With fantastic UK service history, this is a cherished example in arguably the best colour...

Please register your interest by using the contact form below...
