<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Subaru Impreza STi tS Type RA! A super, limited edition model, the RA stands for ‘Record Attempt’. Subaru made just 300 units, 200 of which were Type RA Nürburgring Challenge Pack versions, leaving a mere 100 examples as the standard Type RA.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Here at Torque GT, we have this stunning example (1 of 100), finished in Pearl White. A Grade 4.5 from Japan, it has covered an astonishingly low 18,660 kms (11,594 miles) since 2013.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The tS Type RA is based on the Spec C platform but with Subaru putting in extra effort to make it an even sharper drivers tool.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Revisions were made to the struts, springs and dampers with a front tower brace, a new quicker steering ratio and Brembo brakes with gold-coloured callipers (6-piston up front, 2-piston at the back).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cosmetically, it has a set of black 18-inch STi alloy wheels, a front lip spoiler, special tS badging, leather steering wheel and gear knob with red stitching & tS branded sill plates.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Overall, this is a serious all weather weapon on the road with 308bhp/290 lb-ft from the EJ20, an 8k redline & symmetrical all wheel drive grip.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As Imprezas go, this special edition is relatively subtle given the serious performance. To the untrained eye, it could come across as a fairly normal looking saloon. However, for those in the know, that’s part of the appeal - A true under the radar performer!</span></p>
