<p dir="ltr">Introducing a stunning and rare 2009 Honda S2000 Type S, finished in Grand Prix White. This exceptional example has had just one owner from new and has covered a mere 28,688 miles. Released in 2008 and produced for only two years, the Type S was limited to just 1,755 units.</p>
<p dir="ltr">A true JDM gem, the Type S is based on the AP2 platform and was exclusively available in the Japanese & North American market. It features an upgraded 2.2-liter F22C engine, offering increased displacement and additional torque.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Honda’s goal for the Type S was to make it even more driver-focused. To achieve this, they stripped 41 kg from the chassis and equipped it with a unique body kit, lightweight alloy wheels, specially tuned suspension, and distinctive Type S badging.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Inside, the cabin boasts Type S-specific yellow stitching on the door cards. It also features an aluminum gear knob with an even shorter throw, making it one of the greatest manual gearboxes of all time.</p>
<p dir="ltr">This particular Type S comes with an intriguing backstory. In 2009, a university professor from Toyohashi, Japan, attempted to purchase a new S2000 from Honda, only to learn that production had ceased, and no new models were available. Disappointed, he gave up, until two weeks later when he received a flyer from a local dealership advertising cars for sale, including a new S2000.</p>
<p dir="ltr">He visited the dealership and was informed that although they did not have an S2000 on-site, they could search for one. They located just four remaining units in Japan. One of them, finished in Grand Prix White, was exactly what he had been seeking. He was thrilled to secure the last white S2000 Type S available in Japan!</p>
<p dir="ltr">The car saw occasional use in Japan until 2014, when the owner retired and moved to England, bringing the S2000 with him. Now, after many years of careful ownership, the time has come to part ways with this exceptional car.</p>
