The Honda S2000 has to be one of the most underrated cars out there. Sure, it has a dedicated cult following from those in the know, but in the mainstream market (in our opinion) it never got the attention from buyers it so justly deserved.

Launched at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, the 2.0 (F20C) naturally aspirated engine stunned the world with its high-revving VTEC system, helping it produce 237 bhp — making it the most powerful factory-produced NA 4-pot of the time. Achieving 0–60 in just 6.2 seconds and on to a screaming 150 mph, it simply took mainstream NA technology to a new level. Marry this wonderful engine to an equally brilliant 6-speed gearbox and you have a superb combination that still wows you every time.

Officially going on sale in 1999, with production sadly ending in 2009, the S2000 won the hearts of the world’s motoring press from day one — picking up prestigious awards during every year of production.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a meticulously maintained UK-Spec Honda S2000 GT finished in Laguna Blue Pearl. This cherished example has recently undergone a moderate restoration by R2 Automotive, having only covered 58,270 miles it's a great example.

The car was entrusted to R2 Automotive for a mild restoration focusing on key structural areas. This process included an engine-out service, which allowed for the meticulous cleaning of the engine bay and underside chassis. To eliminate surface rust and prevent future issues, these areas were professionally powder-coated and sealed.

Also included in this refresh:

The braking system was renewed with new discs, pads, and calipers.
The suspension benefits from new bushes as well as Hardrace ball joints.
The subframe was treated during the restoration.
The exterior is complemented by a full alloy wheel refurbishment.
The car has received full underseal and cavity protection for added peace of mind.
The rocker cover has been professionally refurbished.

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.
