<p>An instant success, the first Type R spec Civic to be sold here in the UK was the EP3. It took the motoring press and the first wave of UK owners by storm and remains one of the defining hot hatches from its period. To be honest, any period.</p>
<p>A great recipe including; Double wishbone rear suspension, 6 speed manual & 197bhp 2.0 litre VTEC unit spinning all the way to 8,250rpm! Lively handling, engaging power delivery and beautifully put together. What could be better?</p>
<p>20+ years later the EP3 Type R remains a simply brilliant driver's car with very few compromises in terms of daily usability.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fully stripped back to the bare shell. All underbody completely sandblasted, treated with Eastwood platinum rust encapsulator, MIPA underbody stone chip and hardener and finished off in Cosmic Grey body colour paint.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All components replaced with powder coated parts (including front hubs with new bearings, zinc plated drive flange and hardrace OE ball joints).</span></p>
