Fresh from the collection of Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, this Suzuki Cappuccino has been known affectionately by its owner as the Suzuki Espresso, and with just 18,700 miles on the clock it is one of the most original and well kept examples we have had through the doors.

As you would expect from a car with this mileage and ownership history, the Cappuccino presents in fantastic condition throughout. This 1994 metallic silver example has excellent bodywork, and the same can be said for the black leather interior.

Developed to adhere to Kei car restrictions, you get a 657cc turbo three cylinder that will happily rev to 9,300rpm, rear wheel drive and a slick short throw 5-speed gearbox.

It weighs around 700kg with perfect 50:50 balance and double wishbones all round, so it’s a proper little driver’s car that rewards you for getting stuck in. The three piece aluminium roof is a nice party trick too, letting you go fully closed, targa or completely open depending on the weather.

Jay has christened his following of small Japanese cars Jay’s Keis Club, and the next owner of this "Espresso" will become its newest member. It is a rare chance to own a cherished kei roadster with a good story behind.

The car will also receive a fresh oil and filter service before handover, as well as a 12-month MOT so it leaves us ready to enjoy from day one.

Easy and straightforward to fit along as you’ve got the original arch liner clips as it screws into them. If the liner clips it screws into have broken like mine was, you can get some square Toyota arch liner clips on eBay that fit.
