The Spoon Sports SW388 is a 15x6.5 ET35 5x114.3 alloy wheel. Spoon Sports and Desmond first released the SW388 in the mid 1990s as one of the lightest performance wheels of its day at 3.88kg each, and the five-spoke design has now returned.

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
