- Suitable For
Spoon Sports Blueprinted Drive Shaft Set, for Honda Civic Type R EP3
The Spoon Sports Blueprinted Drive Shaft Set rebuilds the driveshaft from the inside out, because most driveshaft failures start in the internal moving parts rather than from a lack of shaft strength.
When excessive input damages the internals, they catch and create heat pockets, and that heat boils the grease until the joint burns out. A thicker, stronger shaft does not solve this, so Spoon builds the internals with care instead.
Key features
- Built from the inside out: Spoon blueprints the internal moving parts, where most failures begin.
- Tackles the cause of failure: aimed at the heat build-up that burns out the grease.
- Complete set: supplied as a set for the car.

Frequently asked questions
Why not just fit a thicker driveshaft?
Spoon states most failures come from damage to the internal moving parts, not weak shafts, so a thicker shaft would not fix the cause.
