Spoon Sports developed the Venturi Big Throttle Body for the Civic Type R (FN2/FD2) to flow more air than a conventional throttle body.

Key Features:

  • A venturi-shaped bore raises filling efficiency.
  • A diamond-cut mirror finish inside the body cuts intake resistance.
  • A large diameter elliptical butterfly holds durability level with the genuine part.
  • Bore diameter: 70mm (67mm when fitted to FN2).
  • Butterfly diameter: 66mm (64mm when fitted to FN2).

Please note: On the FN2, a 2mm step sits between the throttle body and the intake manifold. Spoon Sports recommends modifying the intake manifold to remove it before fitting.

  • Honda Civic Type R FD2 (2007-2011)
  • Honda Civic Type R FN2 (2006-2012)

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
