The L15C installed in the new Civic 1.5Turbo produces 182 PS despite being 1.5L, and is characterized by its thick torque from low to medium speeds. SPOON has been developing an exhaust system to further improve that high torque and high response. The main pipe is made of SUS304 material Φ60, and the tail uses a Φ127 bullet-shaped dual silencer with a Φ65 finisher. It achieves both high-quality N1 sound and improved exhaust efficiency.
As with the CIVIC TYPE R (FK8), a larger diameter front pipe is also required to pursue higher power and torque with ECU tuning such as boost up. A front pipe with a pipe diameter of Φ60 has also been developed as a set.
