Spoon Sports Steering Wheel Boss and Switch Bracket Set, for Honda Civic FL1 / FL5 and N-ONE e:

The Spoon Sports boss and switch bracket set lets you fit an aftermarket steering wheel to the Honda Civic FL1, Civic Type R FL5 or N-ONE e: while keeping the standard steering-wheel switches, with an airbag canceller included.

Modern cars carry radar cruise control and function buttons on the wheel, which makes a steering-wheel swap awkward. Spoon supplies the boss together with a bracket that relocates those switches, so you get the low-inertia steering feel of a sports wheel and the standard functions together. Part number 78520-FL1-000 is the set; Spoon also sells the boss without the bracket.

Key features

  • Boss and switch bracket set: relocates the standard steering-wheel switches such as radar cruise control and function buttons.
  • Airbag canceller included: supplied with the set.
  • Keeps standard functions: use a sports steering wheel without giving up the factory controls.

Frequently asked questions

Do I keep my cruise control and other wheel buttons?

Yes. The bracket relocates the standard switches to the boss, so you can run a sports wheel and still use them.

Can I buy the boss without the bracket?

Spoon sells the steering boss on its own as a separate product. This listing is the boss and switch bracket set.

Stickers are super easy to apply

Stickers are super easy to apply, the backing comes off easily and leaves them stuck nicely to the clear front to finish the application. Once on they stay well affixed to the car.

Easy and straightforward to fit along as you’ve got the original arch liner clips as it screws into them. If the liner clips it screws into have broken like mine was, you can get some square Toyota arch liner clips on eBay that fit.

Hybrid Racing Induction Kit Honda Civic Type R fk8

Excellent service from Torque GT, the item was in stock and delivered on time. The Hybrid Racing Formula induction kit is of a very high quality, everything that you need is in the box, and my first impressions after fitting and driving my car for a short distance is that it has improved the sound immensely and given the car more power. If you are looking for an induction kit for the Honda Civic Type R fk8 I would highly recommend it.
