Spoon Sports Steering Wheel Boss and Switch Bracket Set, for Honda Civic FK7 (6MT) / Type R FK8

The Spoon Sports boss and switch bracket set lets you fit an aftermarket steering wheel to the Honda Civic FK7 (manual) or Civic Type R FK8 while keeping the standard steering-wheel switches, with an airbag canceller included.

Modern cars carry radar cruise control and function buttons on the wheel, which makes a steering-wheel swap awkward. Spoon supplies the boss together with a bracket that relocates those switches, so you get the low-inertia steering feel of a sports wheel and the standard functions together. Part number 78520-FKA-000 is the set; Spoon also sells the boss without the bracket.

Do I keep my cruise control and other wheel buttons?

Yes. The bracket relocates the standard switches to the boss, so you can run a sports wheel and still use them.

Will it fit an automatic FK7?

No. Spoon lists the set for manual-gearbox FK7 cars and the FK8 only.

Easy and straightforward to fit along as you’ve got the original arch liner clips as it screws into them. If the liner clips it screws into have broken like mine was, you can get some square Toyota arch liner clips on eBay that fit.
