These NISMO short shifters are drop in replacements that give a much more solid engagement when moving between gears, thanks to harder inner rubbers. At the same time, the throw is shortened thanks to a reduction of the lever length by 7.5mm, decreasing the stroke by approximately 10%. These changes alone give a much faster feeling to gear changes, as well as providing a more precise feel to each gear change. Unlike a quick shift, the lever ratio has not been changed so the transmission synchro is unaffected.
Please note; These shifters can only be used with 5 speed manual transmissions.
