The stock rubber hose is not suitable for high temperatures and boost pressures that the engine is capable of when pushed for performance. The piping will deform and hinder the air flow to the engines intake. With this TOMEI Titanium intake pipe, the deformation problem is eliminated whilst preventing the loss of boost pressure. With the added benefits of a 25% weight reduction over the stock item with the increased performance gains, makes it an easier point to choose this easy simple upgrade.

The boss kit gets 5 stars purely for coming with a torx key and a little leverage bar for it, top tier thinking that. Boss was quite delayed however I was immediately informed of this and continuously updated until it was delivered so it was no issue for me.

Package arrived promptly and the new B pipe was well protected in bubble wrap inside the factory spoon packaging. The first thing i noticed was the quality of the welds, then the serialised Spoon plaque, and the genuine honda gasket and spring bolt kit which is included. Fitment was straight forward with the right tools, and the spoon piece aligned perfectly with the standard cat and Spoon N1 backbox. The noise i would describe as OEM++. No drone at motorway speeds but in the vtec band it has that raspy race note. Perfect for around town but still fun in the higher rev range when you want to hear your Honda scream.

I rate it 5/5 and would recommend as a replacement for those sadly corroding factory B pipes.
