Much like Tein Street Basis, Street Advance utilises a twin tube system and has adjustable lowering spring seats allowing you to adjust ride height. Unlike Street Basis, it also features adjustable damping force, allowing you to effectively change your handling characteristics.

Compared to mono tube suspension, Street Basis is twin tube, meaning it attains a longer stroke with a smaller repulsive force, resulting in excellent high ride comfort.

Lowering Specification:

  • Spring rate (Front / Rear): 9 / 3 kgf/mm
  • Ride height drop: Front -65mm, Rear -50mm

Fitted on a NC3 MX5, not as heavy as metal but hefty enough and solid. It also amplify the aliveness(vibration) from mx5 gearbox due to increased length, which I like.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
